BOTOX FAQ’S

  • The pain varies per person, as they are injectable services we do out best to make you completely comfortable and painless as possible!

  • It takes about 2 weeks for the full effect to take place, give it time!

  • It's common to feel tenderness at the injection site. You might also notice some bruising, swelling, or small bumps. While other side effects, such as headaches, neck pain, rashes, drooping eyelids, dry eyes, or a crooked smile, are typically not a cause for major concern, it's still a good idea to contact your doctor. However, if you experience severe side effects like paralysis or difficulty breathing or swallowing, seek medical attention right away.

  • Right after your Botox injection, it’s important to keep the treatment area undisturbed. Stay upright and avoid bending forward or backward. Refrain from lying down for at least 4 hours after the procedure. Do not apply pressure, ice packs, or massage the treated areas. For the first night, try sleeping with your head propped up on a pillow. Avoid intense physical activity or exercise for 24 hours post-treatment. Steer clear of harsh or irritating skincare products. Remember to stay hydrated and avoid alcohol. Your nurse will give you any further aftercare instructions.

FILLER FAQ’S

  • Fill lasts on average 6-12 months before needing to come back for touchups!

  • Restylane is mainly composed of hyaluronic acid, with a small amount of lidocaine added to numb the area and minimize discomfort. Although you may experience a brief sting from the needle, the pain should fade quickly. The treated area may feel tender for a few days after the procedure. We do use a medical grade numbing cream to numb the area before.

  • It is very normal to experience this. Swelling can make the area look more plump so give it time before you worry! Swelling from Restylane lip injections usually starts to decrease a few days after treatment. It may take up to two weeks for your lips to fully settle, but applying an ice pack can help cool the area and accelerate the healing process.

  • Filler is reversible! If you've had it done before and experienced migration, we recommend dissolving it before adding more to achieve a more natural look. If you no longer want the filler, it can be dissolved with hyaluronidase, which breaks down the filler and allows your body to naturally absorb it.

    Over time, your body will gradually break down the filler, which is why you’ll need to have the treatment done again.
